Ashley was born 2 months early, weighing in at just over 3 pounds. In ICU she stayed for the whole month. Then, on Christmas Day the family was informed that she'd require heart surgery. Christmas Day was the day that doctors confirmed to her parents what they'd long prayed for. Ashley was admitted to hospital. Her parents were told. Ashley never needed any surgeries. Her release was to go to her home in the weight range of 4 1/2 pounds following being admitted to hospital for two months. Since then, she has never had any illness! Her father is of English as well as German heritage. Her mother's Irish family is where they come from. The debut of her acting career was in the 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll advertisement. Ashley was first approached by the Ford Modeling Agency when she turned eight. Today, Ashley continues to work in the printing industry. At the age of 10, Ashley decided to become an actor. Ashley did 35 commercials. After that, she went to stage. Ashley currently has a love for acting. Ashley committed all her energy to acting and no longer found time to do modeling or dancing. Ashley's latest character included "Hanna Marin" in ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars (2009). Ashley has also appeared as Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) as well as Solange's music video to promote her hit song "True love". Britney Spears was photographed in a Vogue Magazine shoot.
